Privacy
Satchel Lane is a small, independent publication. It collects as little as it can, and only what it needs to send you the issue. Here is exactly what that means.
If this changes
If we ever change how any of this works, we'll update this page and date it. Questions go to kelly@satchellane.com.

What we collect
If you subscribe, we collect your email address. That's it. We don't ask for your name, and we don't collect anything you don't hand over yourself.
If you write to us, we have whatever you chose to put in your message.
Why we collect it
To send you the issue once a month, and to reply if you write to us. Nothing else. We don't sell it, rent it, or trade it, and we never will — that isn't a legal formality, it's the whole premise of the brand.
Who handles it
The email list runs on Kit (kit.com), our email platform. Your address is stored with them so the issue can be sent. Kit has its own privacy terms covering how they hold that data. The website runs on Squarespace, which collects standard basic analytics about visits.
Your choices
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Use it any time and you're removed — no note required, no hard feelings. If you'd like your email address deleted from our records entirely, write to kelly@satchellane.com and we'll take care of it.
Cookies
The site uses only the basic cookies Squarespace needs to run and to count visits. We don't run advertising trackers.
